Your article and blog remind me of always researching on where you are donating your money to. There are many scams and cheaters out there that are eating away aid that should be given to the ones in need. This happens a lot in third world countries that have a corrupt government.
Have you ever thought of the amount of aid United States gives away and lends to other countries? I know that there is a monthly quota set for Pakistan to fight for terrorism. Isn’t that a very wrong reason to give aid for? What about the hungry and homeless within our own country. How about free health insurance for citizens like Canada has?
These questions always make me wonder, should United States really be a super power who serves as a role model?

Thanks, Dominic! I am beginning to feel the meaning of "Freedom from Ignorance", as stated in the text as one of the benefits to studying multicultural communication. What a difference it makes in my initial thought processes as I evaluate various reports each morning on the news. Word Count 47

This is really an interesting blog post. In fact, it has inspired me to do some research about Burma. Like many others, I had heard about the conflicts on the news, and took very little interest. But, after reading this blog post, I would really love to learn more. This blog post is a really good primer to interpret what is going down in the country. That’s a great way to learn about a lot of things.
